The Site

The base platform for the ANGEK DESIGN website is Joomla! 1.5, with no customization at all. We are Linux junkies and run our site on Redhat 5.0 ES. We are also huge open-source advocates and try to use open-source third party extensions to provide the functionality this site requires.

The Template

We went for the "design" look for our website implementing RocketTheme's Infuse template chosing style3 of the present styles. Very little was changed from the default layout. We did swap out the search bar and replaced it with a custom login module which took us a total of 30 minutes to code and implement.

Additional Functionality

To provide support functionality for our members we implemented a ticketing system called RSTickets! and the open-source forum application (Kunena).

Costs

The entire project has taken approximately 4 full working days to put together.

Prospective clients could expect to pay about $500.00 AUD for a similar implementation. In fact we can implement Joomla CMS with a standard purchased template (with minor modifcations) to provide you with a basic website for as little as $395.00 AUD.
