ProjectFork Reports Dashboard Pro
Reports Dashboard Pro is now Joomla 1.7 and Joomla 2.5 compatible!
So you're already using the best open-source Project Management (ProjectFork) component for Joomla. Now ANGEK DESIGN is about to introduce the best ProjectFork addon.
With a large number of new processes, panels and mods ANGEK DESIGN's Reports Dashboard Pro will deliver an unprecedented addition to ProjectFork that no serious project manager can live without!
Reports Dashboard Pro for ProjectFork aims to deliver an at-a-glance perspective on the current status of your organisation's projects in the context of predetermined metrics for each project. These metrics, once defined, can then be included into Reports Dashboard via customised reports.
By default, Reports Dashboard's main page provides an overview of all the organisation's projects (as illustrated in figure 1) and makes available 6 primary "metric" reports.
These reports include:
- Tasks due this week
- Tasks due this month
- Assigned tasks by user
- Task status by project
- Tasks overdue by user
- Users time by project
Through the use of panels and processes additional reports can be added to further tailor Reports Dashboard to fit your organisation's needs.

A: Select your project workspace
With no selection made you are presented with an overview of all available projects. Making a selection from this dropdown box will result in the display of an overview of the chosen project. The reports in the Reports Navigation panel will also filter their results and limit their output to the chosen project.
B: Reports Navigation
A custom panel that displays all the available metric reports. By default Reports Dashboard Pro comes with 6 reports. Each report displays a chart and a stats table. These have been designed to be independent of each other meaning that the information used to generate the stats tables can be more comprehensive than the information used to display the charts. We'll look at how this is achieved later.
The image below clearly illustrates this independence feature.
As you can see the task name, due date and progress are not apparent by looking at the chart alone.
Finally, additional reports can be added by way of installable panels and processes but more on this later.
C: Default Graphs
Reports Dashboard Pro's main page comes with 2 important graphs which provide the user with project completion and tasks overdue information. For the initial release of Reports Dashboard these graphs cannot be easily changed but we are already working on a way to allow a user to define their own default graphs.
D: Toggle Buttons
Custom panel that provides toggle capabilities. By default, clicking on a report in the Reports Navigation panel will produce a chart and a stats table. Use the toggle buttons to hide charts and/or stats tables.

E: Project Statistics
A statistics table providing an at-a-glance view of the following project information:
- project id and name. Clicking on the project id will take you to the project's gantt chart view, in-depth statistical analysis and additional reports.
- the number of tasks that have yet to be started
- the number of tasks that are currently in progress
- the number of tasks that have been completed
- the number of tasks (those that are not started or in progress) that are overdue
- and the project's progress as percentage completed
Every Stats table generated by Reports Dashboard Pro can be exported directly into Excel for further analysis.
